Jordan Lamont is a Canadian travel writer and the founder of Voyagiste Madagascar, an independent bilingual travel publication dedicated entirely to Madagascar.
This site has been running since 2011 — making it one of the longest-standing independent English and French travel resources focused on Madagascar. Over that time, it has grown into a comprehensive library of articles covering the island’s national parks, wildlife, culture, cuisine, and practical travel logistics.
What This Site Is
Voyagiste Madagascar is a personal publication, not a travel agency. It does not sell tours or accommodation. Every article is written from a traveler’s perspective, with the goal of giving readers the honest, practical information they need to plan a trip to Madagascar confidently.
